Bienvenidos!

CHANGE & IMPACT Empieza aqui y con nosotros.

Since the 1990s, the La Raza Lawyers of Santa Clara County Charitable Foundation has provided over $400,000 in scholarships directly to Bay Area law students committed to representing and serving the Latino community to help ensure that our pipeline of attorneys stays in and graduates from law school. The latest data tells us that Latinos comprise nearly 40% of the state’s population, but only 6% of all California’s licensed attorneys. We are extremely underrepresented as a group and the Foundation is constantly fighting to change this data. Help us diversify the bar and bench, join our efforts today!

Make a Difference Today!

Today’s law students face costs of approximately $94,000.00 annually (tuition, books, housing, & personal fees) to attend a California law school and obtain a Juris Doctor degree. Your donation makes a difference!

A Message From Our President.

Dearest visitor,

Thank you for dropping by to check us out for the first time and/or visit us again to see how you can make a difference in a law students life!  As I serve this 2024 calendar year I often remember the quote “a rising tide lifts all boats” and I am encouraged more than ever to remind you that juntos si podemos.  When we come together in community to work toward our goal to lift one another up through recognition and financial support, we are empowering our legal community and changing its landscape.  We know that we are underrepresented and change starts here.

Before you leave our site I welcome you to check out our past events, register for our upcoming dinner, seek ways to become a sponsor, and forward scholarship instructions to your mentee(s)! I look forward to meeting you in the near future!

Adelante,

Bianca A. Garcia
